We all want to be to successful, we all want to achieve financial freedom but yet most of us refuse to leave our comfortable couches, we are so afraid to plunge ourselves into the this amazing and freefalling world of endless possibilities. We don’t act on our aspirations and hopes because it’s easier to go back doing what we’re so good at for so long now, that we have become connoisseurs of excuses and reasoning, anything to keep us from waking up from our impending slumber, and worst of all, we continue to blame others for our own failures. The successful take complete and full responsibility of who they are, for what they’ve become, and where they are in their lives today. This is what separates them from the rest of the world.
Real successful people never blame others for their failures, they realize that they must always be in control of their lives. They are in a very different state-of-mind, different wavelengths, different paradigm altogether. They know that if they don’t take control of their lives, someone else will, which is often the truth for a lot of us. That’s why the current economic downturn is hitting a lot of people so hard, its because a large percentage of us have no power over our own lives. It’s distressing to know that we’ve allowed the government, the financial markets, the banks, the politicians, and the failed ideologies of society to take control of us and determine what we can or cannot have.
To be successful, we must first understand that we are the only ones who can change our fortunes and we can only do this by first accepting the responsibility of how our lives have turned out to be. This is an important and crucial step that we must undergo to be in the powerful and transformational position that will change the course of our lives forever, because we are the only one who really can.
The life that we perceive from inside our heads is the life that we’ll ultimately live, so by understanding and embracing these fundamental premises, we are laying the corner stones of the foundations around which all the other building blocks of our desired success will and must be placed. You need to have passion, you need to discover what is most beautiful and sacrosanct to you, what is it that you would feel most incomplete without, and when you have indentified what brings you complete joy, your own voracious hunger and desire to achieve that goal will develop into that inner-drive which will finally turn your dreams into reality.
You need to also have vision. In order to reach your goals you must be able to conceive it in your mind. Never underestimate your ability to go beyond your imagination and bring your ideas to fruition. Throughout time, massive success have begun with the dream of a single person. If you want to expand your possibilities you must first expand and broaden your horizon of thought and pursue these ideas and experiences that will ultimately become an enriching part of your life, you need to consciously seek them out.
Appreciating where you can go begins by first acknowledging where you are and where you’ve been. Success isn’t a matter of luck, it requires a lot of practice, it’s a result of a lot of study and comprehensive strategy. Learn all you can about your passion and master every last detail, consider all the fine distinctions and possibilities by not holding anything back. Unleash the unlimited potential inside you and you will notice the aura of success shine through your undertakings. You will feel it overflow within your soul and everything will suddenly seem possible again, the thought that a task cannot be be done will begin to seem laughable to you. You will begin to witness all your problems turning into opportunities, with all its creases ironed out. Your inner abilities and its transformational power will manifest itself in every challenge you undertake. Remember that a good archer hits the target even before the arrow leaves his bow.
Decide what you want and plan the steps needed to achieve it, then act on it, review the end results, and repeat this process by improvising each time as you go along. It’s as simple as that. More often than not, good opportunities are disguised as hard labor and that is why very few people don't even know that its there, they’re too lazy to go that extra mile. Successful people have learned to recognize opportunities in the simplest everyday things and they’ve developed and used these skills and abilities with astonishing results. Real successful people know that only by focusing on the solutions they will be able to achieve positive outcomes. If you focus on your problems, you will only have more of it.
The most important key to success is perseverance. No great achievement comes without complications, whether in the form of physical, geographical, and material limitations, or even the vagaries of nature. Although our achievements may sometimes be met with failures, we must never abandoned our dreams, but resolutely persevere and go against all odds to achieve success. The synergy that results from perseverance and determination is unstoppable. We succeed in life not because we are destined to but only because we are that determined.
Make informed decisions based on common-sense where possible and apply them accordingly on a case-to-case basis, rather than finding solution based on ideologies which may not transpire the best results, especially in this rapidly evolving world that we live in today. Power is no longer secluded to who has the biggest guns or who has the most money, the powerful are those who has the most information, and information is so easily accessible these days, especially through the magic of the world wide web. The best way to have success in all that you do is to increase your knowledge and understanding.
Finally, believe in yourself, feel hyped, eager, and get ready to get moving, nurture your excitement about all the opportunities that will imminently present itself, and take advantage of its abundance in possibilities. Remember that it is the desire to succeed and not the ability that will ultimately determine your success.

Two Double 'O' Nine
One of the most fundamental things that the most successful people in the world share is the ability to set life transforming goals. In order to set the right goals, you have to first be clear about what you want to accomplish, you need to ask yourself what your burning desires are, only then will you be able to completely commit yourself into learning how to achieve them, and doing whatever it takes into making these goals a reality.
It’s important to write your goals down on a piece of paper because picturing it is just wishful thinking. Writing your goals down in the present tense or setting a timeline to achieve them is far more effective that just writing them down in the future tense or without a timeline, as this only clouds ands delays its realization even further. You must be totally focused on what you really want, as those who are the most lucid about what inspires and excites them, are the ones who achieve the most. These people are also the ones who looks forward to and enjoys the process or the journey that will lead them to ultimate success.
Successful people never blame others for their short-comings or mistakes, and they certainly don’t come up with excuses to not be able to undertake a task or overcome a challenge. They learn from their errors in judgment and move forward, grateful for the experience, and vowing to never make the same mistakes again. They learn to do things differently and more effectively because they are not afraid of taking chances. They refuse to play the blame-game and are inspired by it instead.
Learning is the most critical process in achieving great success in anything that you do, and you learn best from someone who truly understands the dynamics and the workings of the journey and the path that you’re taking. This is because they’ve experienced it first hand, they have gone thorough all the obstacles and have triumphed over failures. They truly know what they’re talking about.
Successful people know that they can’t go at it alone, they need the proper mentoring and assistance to effectively achieve their goals. That’s why athletes and sportsmen always have coaches. Without the proper teaching and guidance of a mentor, you are as good as walking in the dark blindfolded. Find a mentor that is creditable with a proven track record or at least an expert in the field that you wish to conquer.
There’s more than 24 hours in a day for those who understands the power of delegation. Delegating your tasks will not only generate more time for yourself but also give you the freedom to do as much as you want, whenever you want. Managing your time by prioritizing and delegating your work to someone else, either through a personal assistant or outsourcing your work to a reliable service provider, even for simple tasks like answering emails or processing company data, or someone who can file your tax returns for you, will free up a lot of your precious time, and the advancement of technology has made this so much more of a possibility today than ever before.
Like the law of gravity, the law of attraction will never fail you, if you understand how it works. You get whatever you consistently focus on and what you constantly think about. The universe has a way of giving you your true heart’s desire. If you think it, you are it, you are right, that’s what you get, that’s who you become. This also means that if you would continually think about your debts, for example, you will have more of it, because your debt is what you most consistently think off, the universe is not biased that way, but if you would think of ways of eliminating your debt by focusing on creating more income or setting the right goals, then the universe will present you with ways of getting rid of that worry. It’s important to remember that the human mind can’t hold the absence of something that it contemplates. It’s all about refocusing your thoughts, turning negative energy into positive synergy.
Never underestimate the power of asking, only because when you tell the universe what you want it will be able to bend on your behalf and give you exactly that. This can effectively be achieved by writing down your goals powerfully, and not in a way that negates it. For example, instead of writing down how much weight you want to lose, write down what you will do to lose that weight.
Successful people do acknowledge challenges and problems, but they don't spend precious time focusing on them, instead, they look out for solutions to overcome those problems, recognizing and even creating opportunities in the process as they go along.

TOMORROW NEVER COMES!
This is how you tell a winner from a loser, a successful person from an unsuccessful one; it’s by what they say, you can tell a lot about a person by the things that they tell you. When you talk to a winner about their dreams and goals, they’ll tell you what it is, they’ll tell you what they’ll do to achieve it, and they’ll tell you when. When a loser talks about their dreams and goals, that is assuming that they even have one, you’ll hear them say things like, “I hope to buy my dream car someday,” or “I hope to be financially free someday,” or “I’ll join the gym tomorrow”. For those losers, this may come as a shock to you but please get this through that thick skull of yours, TOMORROW NEVER COMES!
You know someone has a loser mentality when they use words like, "someday, “or "I hope," or "I wish". They do this because they feel that this way they’re not accountable for the things they say, it relinquishes them of the responsibility of doing more than what they've grown so accustomed to. They never place a timeline to achieve that dream or set a goal because they know that they’ll never in a million years do it.
Most people with this mentality are hoping that they strike the lottery someday, they don’t buy the lottery tickets even as they hope for this by the way, or maybe they are hoping that money will fall of the skies.
Losers never set timelines to their goals and dreams because they know that if they don’t meet this timeline, they become a failure, and losers don’t like knowing that they are failures, they avoid the fact at all cost, they’re in constant denial of how much of a loser they truly are.
Winners are not afraid of failing as they’ve learned that success is a direct result of failing enough times. Winners learn from these mistakes and do better and excel even higher. Losers after making a mistake will crawl back to their safe holes and continue doing what they always have been doing, what they know best, they always take the easy way out.
I dare you, ask the top 500 self made millionaires in the world and they’ll tell you without flinching that success comes with its share of failures. Losers are afraid of failing, so they stick to a routine and they live their lives the tried and tested way, they do what they do because everyone else does it.
This is why 99 percent of the world’s population will never be financially free, and yes you, reading this, you are part of that statistic. You will continue to live your days like a coward. You will continue doing tomorrow what you did today. Change is too hard for you. You’ve learn to become comfortable with the little that you have and you’re adept at coming up with excuses.
All of us have big dreams, but how many of us have set goals to achieve these dreams. Having dreams is the easy part, (although I wonder why some people are so stingy with their dreams sometimes, dreams are the only thing in life that's free, and even then we limit ourselves to how much can we expect from ourselves), it’s the goal, the timeline that you set upon your dreams that makes it a reality.
If you want to achieve anything in your life, anything at all, you must give it a timeline. Someday will never come, tomorrow is as good as just giving up. Don’t be afraid to fail, just keep making those goals and exhaust all options into making that timeline, take action now, persistence pays off, I promise you that. Whatever problems you may think you have, you've conjured up there in your mind, your biggest problems are all in your head. If you think it, you are it. Often when you say you cant do something, you’re right, you cant, only because you think it, it’s in your mind and you become that.
A lot of people have said this to me, myself included by the way, “I’ll do it someday”, “I’ll invest in that stock someday”, “I’ll read that book someday”, “I’ll finish my studies someday”, “I’ll start that business someday”, “I’ll join the gym someday”, “I’ll quit smoking someday”, “I’ll go on that vacation someday”, “I’ll get out of debt someday”, etcetera, etcetera. They always postpone the things that will ultimately give them the wealth and the prosperity they’ve always wanted in the first place for later, and before long, later becomes a part of them. Someday is a part of who they are, they never get anything done, their lives will continue to be filled with more hopes and dreams. These people will by then have added another thousand excuses to their existing millions for not doing anything about their situation, about their lives, they will blame everything and everyone else, from their government, to their dead ancestors, and their neighbours cats, anything but doing what’s necessary for change to happen within them.
They will blame god, they will blame fate, they will blame their families, their jobs, their bosses, they never because god forbids it, they never ever blame themselves. A lot of people have died never realizing their dreams, they just make do with the lives they have and they convince themselves that they’re happy with who they are and with whatever little they have, because its easier, because changing is too much work. They begin speaking ill of the rich and successful, so much so that they think that the rich and successful became that way because of their corrupt and manipulative ways, they begin gossiping amongst themselves and they grow envious of the others that have that little more than what they do.
These people will always think that they have the ability to change someday when they’re ready, when they’re pushed to that corner, when they must, when it is needed.
Someday will never come, someday is too late.

Capitalist Socialism
In my opinion, no country in the world today is purely capitalist or socialist. To make the political, economic, and social system effective, it has to be a mix of the two, although the economical impacts are usually determined by how pro a government is towards each idealism.
I'd like to think of capitalism, which may have came about during the industrial revolution, as being more inclined towards the rich and wealthy, meaning that the rich keeps getting richer and the poor keeps getting poorer. This is largely due to the allegedly unfair allocation of property, wealth and resources, which are owned and controlled by capital rich individuals, corporation or companies. Socialism, on the other hand, reminds me of Robin Hood, where he steals from the rich and gives to the poor, only legalized, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that the poor gets richer, as it doesn’t focus on their development but acts only as a form of much needed aid.
In both cases, the poor loses but at least with the interjectory of socialism, it helps ease their burden through these redistributions of wealth. Now, how well and fair the management system works on these allocations are subjective. Socialism, as a controlled mechanism, can be exposed to massive corruption, a fact which is apparent in many third-world countries today.
The capitalist systems taxes the poor first on any income they make whereas the income of the rich is taxed last. This is because governments are dependant on capitalist individuals, factories, businesses and corporations to continue providing jobs and sufficient infrastructure for the poor, who works for a living. This, then, directly helps sustain the economy.
The prices of goods in the centralized capitalist markets are mainly determined on the law of supply and demand. This results in a large gap in disparity between the people that owns capital and the ones who don’t. As bad as capitalism may sound, especially to the poor, it is on the contrary a more productive system, as it encourages the development of individuals and their interest while tapping into their unlimited potentials, as well as rewarding their hard work. It also promotes free trade and is not controlled by the government, (although many may disagree), hence encouraging competition, bringing down prices, enhances the quality of service and skirts around inflation effectively. The harder you work, the more you gain. It has very independent ideals as oppose to socialism, which is collectively dependant. This makes capitalism a driving force behind strong striving economies.
Socialism, regarded as a more humane, just, caring and sympathetic system, is also essential in developing nations as it protects the interest of the poor, the backbones of industries, which will in return help fuel capitalism. This is because the capitalist market is solely dependent on mass spending, and the masses are poor. Over time in history, this realization, which was slightly influence by Marxism, bridged in the drastic disparities and helped create middle class societies.
History has thought us the many failures of being an extreme socialist or capitalist, at some point. I for one, am a self proclaimed democratically liberal capitalist socialist (no pun intended..) ;)
