Two Double 'O' Nine

One of the most fundamental things that the most successful people in the world share is the ability to set life transforming goals. In order to set the right goals, you have to first be clear about what you want to accomplish, you need to ask yourself what your burning desires are, only then will you be able to completely commit yourself into learning how to achieve them, and doing whatever it takes into making these goals a reality.

It’s important to write your goals down on a piece of paper because picturing it is just wishful thinking. Writing your goals down in the present tense or setting a timeline to achieve them is far more effective that just writing them down in the future tense or without a timeline, as this only clouds ands delays its realization even further. You must be totally focused on what you really want, as those who are the most lucid about what inspires and excites them, are the ones who achieve the most. These people are also the ones who looks forward to and enjoys the process or the journey that will lead them to ultimate success.

Successful people never blame others for their short-comings or mistakes, and they certainly don’t come up with excuses to not be able to undertake a task or overcome a challenge. They learn from their errors in judgment and move forward, grateful for the experience, and vowing to never make the same mistakes again. They learn to do things differently and more effectively because they are not afraid of taking chances. They refuse to play the blame-game and are inspired by it instead.

Learning is the most critical process in achieving great success in anything that you do, and you learn best from someone who truly understands the dynamics and the workings of the journey and the path that you’re taking. This is because they’ve experienced it first hand, they have gone thorough all the obstacles and have triumphed over failures. They truly know what they’re talking about.

Successful people know that they can’t go at it alone, they need the proper mentoring and assistance to effectively achieve their goals. That’s why athletes and sportsmen always have coaches. Without the proper teaching and guidance of a mentor, you are as good as walking in the dark blindfolded. Find a mentor that is creditable with a proven track record or at least an expert in the field that you wish to conquer.

There’s more than 24 hours in a day for those who understands the power of delegation. Delegating your tasks will not only generate more time for yourself but also give you the freedom to do as much as you want, whenever you want. Managing your time by prioritizing and delegating your work to someone else, either through a personal assistant or outsourcing your work to a reliable service provider, even for simple tasks like answering emails or processing company data, or someone who can file your tax returns for you, will free up a lot of your precious time, and the advancement of technology has made this so much more of a possibility today than ever before.

Like the law of gravity, the law of attraction will never fail you, if you understand how it works. You get whatever you consistently focus on and what you constantly think about. The universe has a way of giving you your true heart’s desire. If you think it, you are it, you are right, that’s what you get, that’s who you become. This also means that if you would continually think about your debts, for example, you will have more of it, because your debt is what you most consistently think off, the universe is not biased that way, but if you would think of ways of eliminating your debt by focusing on creating more income or setting the right goals, then the universe will present you with ways of getting rid of that worry. It’s important to remember that the human mind can’t hold the absence of something that it contemplates. It’s all about refocusing your thoughts, turning negative energy into positive synergy.

Never underestimate the power of asking, only because when you tell the universe what you want it will be able to bend on your behalf and give you exactly that. This can effectively be achieved by writing down your goals powerfully, and not in a way that negates it. For example, instead of writing down how much weight you want to lose, write down what you will do to lose that weight.

Successful people do acknowledge challenges and problems, but they don't spend precious time focusing on them, instead, they look out for solutions to overcome those problems, recognizing and even creating opportunities in the process as they go along.
